Mama’s On TV! With Poet Peter Hrastovec on The Write Stuff!

THE WRITE STUFF ON CFTV!

I was invited to be on CFTV’s show ‘The Write Stuff‘, with host and writer, Veronique Mandel. Joined by fellow local poet, and all-around super guy, Peter Hrastovec, myself, Peter and Veronique engaged in a fun, thoughtful, inspiring conversation about poetry and the writing life.

The Write Stuff is a television program featuring writers from the Essex County and Windsor area in Southwestern Ontario. Also featured are local publishers, events and other matters of interest which help promote the local literary community. The program launched January 13th, 2016. The Write Stuff is a production of  the Essex Region Literary Network and produced in association with Southshore Broadcasting Inc. and with the Arts Council – Windsor & Region.

So far, the show has featured many incredibly talented writers and artists from our region.

Episode 7 – Part 2 of 2

Ahem, there have been, as of late, too many ‘articles’ written about how ‘terrible/dirty/polluted/disorganized/etc.’ our city is…here, my friends, is a post about how AMAZING and VIBRANT our artist and literary culture is. We’re writing and creating art that sustains, inspires, promotes, affects positive change, and supports one another – each and every day.

Thank you Veronique, Brian, Peter and the CFTV crew for making this a wonderful experience, and a necessary and integral to our culture  show!

  1. Dude, what a terrific interview. I’m so very proud of you, and I just love seeing you in your element. Keep up the great work. You’re so fortunate to find and do what you’re meant to do.
P.S. I cried a little when you read your poem as Wyatt just happened to be sleeping beside me.
    All my love,
    Anne-Marie
