To Tweet or not to Tweet, that was the question. I’ve answered with a somewhat cautious ‘to tweet’. There have just been too many people suggesting (in one way or another) that I join the multitudes of tweeters and set up an account. So last evening, just before I went to Chapters to see my book on the shelf, I joined Twitter.
My handle is:
AuthorVanessa
I have two followers. I’m following 7 people, I think.
I couldn’t put my phone down after I made my account. This pull to ‘tweet’ incessantly was like a magnet from my finger tips to my phone. Why do we tweet again? I mean, it’s not like we don’t have other things to do, right? I feel like I’ve added another layer to my multi-tasking sandwich. Alas, I digress. I’m a multi-tasker from way back. I’m pretty sure I can handle it. 140 characters. That’s doable.
I hear tweeting is good for book sales. That’s why I joined. I’ll be honest. I’m a writer and sell my book I must.
If you’re on Twitter, do ‘follow’ me. I’ll follow you. I promise.
