the hole I’ve been so strongly filling in with the Everythings of Life
revealed like ten dervishes whirling it open –
the space for you in my centre
the sewing room with its thread-heavy spinning the whiiiirrrr
of your moonbeam flailing open the chamber doors to my soul
oh! it is alive with pain & sorrow!
in this body, your mountain –
oh! can I climb myself to reach you?
rip open my ribs & set your moonbeam to sky?
no! inside this cavern of loss your
brilliance belongs between
my ribs – I will hold your moonbeam
in my hands for as long as this hole
survives
