Things
I didn’t do All The Things:
answer the emails
respond to the texts
make the phone calls
fold the clothes
exercise
breathe
I just didn’t do All The Things
but I did do Some Things
& there were tears & laughter
there was fear & long embraces
under the fog-hipped waning Moon
Now, I sit with Guilt
we’re writing this poem
together because she
is part of Me…
for now
& when we write
together
we can both breathe

thanks mark! just listened to the song. super cool. i love bobby darin…have you seen the biopic? https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0363473/ i’ve got a cool story about this….i was at the premiere of this film at the toronto film festival…saw Spacey and the others at a fancy screening. rubbing shoulders with hollywood elite!
