I have the grand honour of taking the stage with 19 other Canadian poets at the 2015 International Festival of Authors and NOW Magazine‘s Battle of the Bards. *SUPER GAH*
Myself and 19 other poets will read our poetry for up to 5 minutes and attempt to *wow* the jury of judges and entertain the crowd at The Harbourfront Centre in Toronto, ON.
The winner gets a spot at the International Festival of Authors this fall,and an ad in NOW Magazine! How utterly amazing!

Of course, I’ll send out a message to share my experience. Right now, it’s all elephants in my belly and boa constrictors in my guts. But – I’ve Hadfielded (prepared) my poems, timed myself, practiced over and over…so, I have to trust that the words will work their magic…and promise myself to be joyful no matter the outcome!
