Local Literary Events April 8-12!

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 8, 2015 – 7PM

The University of Windsor students in the Editing & Practicum class (taught by Windsor’s Poet Laureate Marty Gervais) is having its annual book launch. This year it’s a triple threat with new poetry from local poet Peter Hrastovic, new prose and poetry by Gillian Cott and an anthology about the Detroit Tigers and baseball edited by English professor Dale Jacobs.

I will be at the event doing Poetry on Demand. Come to this FREE event – one of Windsor’s biggest literary events – and let me write a poem! Bring cash or credit though because these new books will be for sale – and you can get them signed by the authors!

SUNDAY, APRIL 12, 2015 – 1PM – 4PM

I’ve organized a poetry and music event at the Art Gallery of Windsor to celebrate and read with some of my favourite poets and musicians. Thank you to the Art Gallery for hosting this event in their beautiful space! This event is FREE but there will be books/music for sale – CASH ONLY – if you’re inclined to purchase. We’re getting a wildly great response so far – so please come early because I think it’ll be standing room only! I promise this event will be inspiring and entertaining – a testament the strength and beauty of women writers and musicians.
