WRITE ON, RURAL!!
This Friday, I’ll be joining writer Ray Robertson, Biblioasis owner Dan Wells, and writer Kara Smith at the Crazy 8 Barn for Poetry on Demand (I’ll be doing Poetry On Demand from 5:00 – 6:30), dinner, special guest speaker/reader Ray Robertson, and a panel discussion on writing and publishing – southwestern Ontario-style. I’m super excited to share the panel with the likes of Robertson, Wells and Smith.
If you’ve never been to the Crazy 8 Barn – you should! It’s a wild place with amazing art and food. It’s a nice under-an-hour drive into the country side to get there. I did a writing workshop here a couple of years ago and I loved it! I promised myself that I’d go back for more fun – and wow! It’s happening!
Robertson’s new book, “Lives of the Poets (With Guitars)” launches this Wednesday at Biblioasis at 7pm. If you can’t make it to the Crazy 8 Barn event – at least try and get out to Ray’s launch here in town. Or – do both!!
