Come and Celebrate with Songs and Stories!
The next Mouth Piece Storytelling event is happening this Thursday, June 30th, 2016 at Phog Lounge! We’re celebrating our 1-year anniversary with the theme of music! Phog is the perfect location as it was named one of Canada’s top live-music venues! Our Guest Storyteller Dan MacDonald has music in his blood as the best dang DJ on 93.9FM The River and as the myriad roles he’s played as a star singer/performer! We’re thrilled to have him hosting! He will be joined by musical guests Nadine Deleury on cello (yes, you read that correctly – cello! It’s such a gorgeous instrument and she plays is wonderfully!) and Tom McWilliams on blues guitar. Tom has been playing in a blues band for several years and is working hard at getting solo gigs as a singer! Can’t wait to hear him shred on vocals and guitar! DJ Cam is back with a set that will get you dancing for sure! And…there will be a surprise musical guest to get the party started. Also, did I we mention there WILL BE CUPCAKES?
It’s all free! Because stories are for everyone – and that’s what we’re celebrating most! The storytellers who get on stage and share with us, at once lifting our spirits and holding our hearts in their hands!
