Okay. So…it happened! My new book of poetry ‘Look At Her’ has arrived safely from the printer…and…oh…um…it’s in my possession!!!
This is me freaking out with joy in my car after meeting with my publisher, editor and pal Marty Gervais…
As soon as I got home, I brought in my boxes of fancy new books…
…and hugged and squeezed the hubby and kids and Oscar the pooch. I quickly devoured two double-stuffed Oreo cookies to help my mouth celebrate! I grabbed my journal, a pen and a copy of the book and jumped into bed to write about this momentous experience…
And then of course…I pet her…my beautiful new baby…
…and I smelled her…
Oh sweet sigh of happy sighs!! We did it! We brought this book of poetry from heart, soul and mind to paper and ink…and soon, into your hands!!
What a surreal and yet perfectly real experience!!! I mean look at her! Just look at her!!
