This Week’s Events – Poetry as Gifts & Mouth Piece Storytelling!

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2017 –

GIVE THE GIFT OF POETRY!

You simply MUST come out to our reading and workshop this Wednesday! We are taking a hands-on approach to giving the the gift of poetry! Myself and poet Dorothy Mahoney will be reading poetry – that we love and that we believe is worth giving as a gift! Then, we will guide you through some writing exercises to you can WRITE your own poems that you can give as a gift this holiday. We’ll have loads of unique crafty bits that you put your poem onto/into so not only will you write a poem or two – but you’ll fancy it up so you can give it as a gift. No one will leave without a gift to give! This is a FREE event because we believe that the gift of poetry is priceless!! See you there! OH – and this is for ALL AGES! Miller will be joining us – she’s 9!

MOUTH PIECE STORYTELLING – THE CHILDHOOD EDITION

It’s the last storytelling event of 2017! The theme is CHILDHOOD – and we’ve got a FRIDAY event!!! How cool is that? No excuses not to come because you have to work the next day, right?! Dust off those childhood stories you’ve been dreaming of sharing! Did you have to wear an ugly snowsuit? Who was your first crush? Any first kiss stories? Something hilarious happen to you at school? Did you go on a family road trip that was a disaster? I know you’ve got some magical, memorable and mind-blowing stories – so come on out and share them! This is the last storytelling event for 2017 – so get your story on!

We’re featuring Guest Storyteller Janice Smith and Guest Musician Allison Brown. It will be a fabulous night! Dress up! Wear that snowsuit! Prizes for the Master Mouth Piece! And swag for sale! (Also a great gift to give!)

As always, this a free event because stories are priceless!
