Brick Books – Celebrating Canadian Poetry – Featuring Giles Benaway

I’m over at Brick Books for this post, continuing to celebrate National Poetry Month! I’ve written a short feature on poet Giles Benaway for Brick Books’ Celebration of Canadian Poetry series.

Giles Benaway’s first book of poetry Ceremonies for the Dead blew me away.

Who is your favourite poet these days? I just bought ‘Howl’ by Allen Ginsberg and ‘Collected Poems’ by Dylan Thomas. Ahhhhh. Be still my soul.

  1. Nobody new. But I’m back to reading Rilke again, the same poem for weeks. I’m being haunted. 🙂
