Wounded Writers Ask – Free Write #14 – Let Them Say

Write three lines of ‘let them say’ about yourself. You can start your line with, “If they ever tell my story let them say,” or you may prefer to start with let them say. You have something important to say – so say it and be heard.

If they ever tell my story, let them say I loved like the sun – constantly, unconditionally and illuminated.

If they ever tell my story, let them say I wrote like a humpback whale in a sea of wild waters – gently, honestly, hugely.

If they ever tell my story, let them say, huh…and she never won any awards? Interesting. Too bad she’s famous now that that’s she’s dead. (Okay. Too cheeky?) (Sigh. I’m working on letting this go!)

If they ever tell my story, let t hem say she was a human of bright spirit, meaningful moxie, a real lover of life, and gosh, her eyes…her words….her heart sure did change the world.

If they ever tell my story, let them say she gave good head…and heart and home and honesty.
