I discovered a new form of haiku today! The Haiga – a melding of painting and haiku! It’s an ekphrastic expression using haiku! Who knew?! Find out more in the links below! I also discovered a Canadian artist, Siobhan Humston…she attended my little heart tour book event in Sarnia! I am so inspired by her work, that I’ve written my first Haiga using one of her pieces, The Stories I Tell. Thank you, Siobhan!

SARNIA HEART TOUR A GRAND MAGICAL JOY!

Here I am in blissful joy at the Love Buzz Coffee cafe in Sarnia! Though we were a small group, the magic was flowing and we had an intimate poetic exchange, reading and talking about poetry!
Thank you to Joanne, my fearless roadie and generous host! To the team at Love Buzz Coffee, and to the very cool stores and beaches I traversed in Sarnia! It’s a gem of a place!
